Rajasthan is the famous centre of hand block /Ajrakh Print in India. Its soil & climate provide a perfect blend for this exclusive style of printing. This print is the combination of Limestone, Pomegranate, Indigo, Clay & Gum. After dyed fabric is left for drying, dryed fabric is stamped with wooden blocks. Motifs of Rajasthan hand block prints are Aath kaliya, chopad & kamal. Nowadays due to moderation in textile sector other motifs of different flowers are also using by the Tribes of Rajasthan.
