Significance of Tribal Prints

Imagine a world without any pattern. Boring, right? Humans have evolved through ages. Humans are still evolving as it’s a non-stop process. We learn new things and apply them to make our daily life routines easier. What exactly do we wish to discuss here? Human growth? No, but a part of the human evolution along with its significance.

We often see racks of stores crowded with tribal prints, we drape ourselves in these prints even without knowing what its significance is. The prints can be a symbol of status, hierarchy, and allegiance to tribal roots.

Kuba is a popular African cloth pattern created by the leaf of the Raffia tree. Every leaf is hand-

cut and then dyed using natural resources and indigo. This is a time taking process. The prints are made in such a manner that every print lines up to tell a story.

There are patterns in which patterns are hand sewed and bright colors are used. The color pattern has a noteworthy meaning. Every color has its pure form and a story to weave.

Symbols are a visual representation of societies culture, philosophy, beliefs, and history. They communicate knowledge, rituals, and feelings of the tribe. They can depict human or animal behavior, important events or representing their surroundings and departments.

Tribal prints significance is very simple. They imply life in their way. It’s not complicated to understand their rituals or beliefs. We also have ours, right? Being static and realizing that every period has its language to communicate and reciprocate is one big achievement. We need to start accepting and find life in ancient ways. Some might get offended to refer them as tribal some prefer this. It’s not a different time gap. It’s the different mindset of every individual.
