The Simplicity of Tribal Art

India is diverse in every way whether it is religious practices, land reforms, languages, food or people. Every 20 km all these above factors change. India is a land which knows how to embrace the beauty of diversity.

Art is always praised in India. Almost every state, community, religion has its own way to present its story in an artistic manner. Modern art is always said to be superior but why is it that ancient is praised?  The tribal has always been a subsequently important part for the country. Its evolution and the still existing to the root quality give us a brief about India’s ancient history.

Have you ever imagined what Indian Art like Western influences? When all the modern painting equipment’s were not available to us, art still existed and bloomed. Indian ancient art culture always focused on telling a story. There is nothing better than tribal art to discuss ancient art.  The practice of tribal art is entirely focused on the functioning of their community.

Different Indian tribes have their own way to recite their culture. Their paintings represent their community in every way. They show their daily work along with their occasional celebrations. This is how we came to know what our ancient lives looked like. It just a matter of fact but these paintings still exist and are way better than the modern art which uses equipment and technologies.

Tribal art uses natural ingredients and equipment’s like colours from nature, sticks to paint and write, handmade papers. These people used shapes to imitate designs. One design led to another helping find connections.

Evolution is the necessity of time but the ancient can never be forgotten. It is something that tells us who we are. Every ancient history leads to modern connection.
